editing/signature changed?

I was sitting in AI today with a friend when I clicked on a person named Fevon.



Now, I realize (or I'm fairly sure) that this port is a freebie - but it looks to me like it's been edited quite a bit, and the signature looks different than the one I remember. I can't remember who did this port, but I'm pretty sure that the artist specified that the signature not be changed.
Can anyone help in placing the artist to the port?
