FFF - Is there a standard for pricing around here?
«: May 11, 2010, 07:24:21 PM»
So, I'm looking at taking commissions for websites, but my problem is pricing.
I've been quoted at $5, I've been quoted at $50, I've been quoted at $70.
I really don't know where the hell my pricing is supposed to fall any more. D:

What's the average pricing on Furc/FAZ/Wherever for a website? I know that 'in the real world' I could probably charge $50-$70 legitimately, but I have my doubts that anyone would dish out that much for an RP-Character's site...

i really don't think anyone is willing to pay over 15 for a website for furc.

5 is the base price for a simple website, 10 if the website has multiple pages.

that's just me though.

If it were that easy I'd be charging professional prices of $100-$250.

The problem is that no one on Furc is going to pay $100 for a website for their RP character.

start low and if you get too many commissioners, raise your price.
you shouldnt be getting more than 1 commissioner per time it takes you to make a site. maybe 2, only if you have the motivation to finish 2 sites in a timely manner.
