Help with this portrait?
«: September 21, 2010, 04:34:00 PM»

I've been trying for like 20 minutes to get the horns on this portrait right. If someone could do a redline or just make some suggestions for me, I'd really appreciate it!

Those breasts are really... unnatural... Breasts are not round balls stuck on the chest. They're more like teardrops in shape.

That website can explain it better than I can.

That was actually intentional, heh. I was goofing around and drawing large comedic boobies and got carried away and decided to draw the rest of the port.

Technically though.. even for "large comedic" they are only at most a lower C (the only look "bigger" because you made them perfect circles, but breasts aren't spheres) and are not "attached" to her body. Breasts sit on top of the pectoral muscles, so they tend to follow similar connection points and movements as the pecs.
NSFW *for being provocative and for undies) http://dashowcase.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/07/valentina-dessi-hot-sexy-pretty-babe-model-naked-nude-breasts-tits-stacked-latina-hiphip-phatass-fat-ass-4.jpg  Notice how her breasts "connect" to her arms? The connect at the underarm, arm pit region.
NSFW (nudity) http://www.afraidtoask.com/?page_id=119 (scroll all the way down for the photos of the size comparisons) Here is a size comparison chart for "unhindered" breasts. So these are in natural state with no restrictions or support and they will help you better understand how breasts attach, their shape, and what the different sizes look like. I personally really like the chart this site has because it not only shows you different sizes, but it shows you the chest size (EX: 34 A) and it shows you the sizes at all different angels so that you can have a better understanding of what breasts look like and how gravity affects them.
I know you wanted horn help, but I'd suggest fixing the breast issue first as it is more noticeable. If I have time later tonight I'll do some red lining.

i hope i kept the horns close to what you wanted them to be. :X

the one to our right would be pointing towards you, sooo the shape wouldn't be as defined. and the one to the left is pretty much right, i just think the base could be fatter. :P

What Markiee posted seems to be correct. I think what you were doing was attempting to draw all of the right horn (the character's left horn, our right,) in the port, to make it fit. Don't be afraid to let some things "spill off the canvas", if you will.

And for the record, I think the boobs look fine. They look anti-gravity, which would just be equivalent to having breast implants.

It's not unless you have implants that are filled with hard plastic. Breast implants are soft and squishy, even the biggest implants still obey gravity just as normal breasts would. Trust me, my friend has C cup breast implants and they look completely natural, she's had them for like... 5 years now.

notice that the implants are rather firm, but they still follow the natural gravity and muscle structure of the body.
http://local.yodle.com/articles/wp-content/uploads/2009/08/big-breast-implant-image.jpg This is the closest I could find, but notice they still follow the body shape and muscle design. Additionally, the "cleavage" is not natural in this port, but instead reminiscent of cell mitosis.
