Suspicious activity?
1 April 2011, 8:29 am

I'm not very sure this is really alt theft (not yet and I hope it doesn't become the case) but I recently traded a design for the alt Deceive and I got an email this morning stating someone has been trying to change the password and the IP absolutely ISN'T mine. I'm not pointing fingers nor am I accusing the girl who I traded with.

So I'm curious, is this a case where I should just keep a good eye out or would there actually be anything additional I could do to safeguard the alt or find out WHO was attempting to change the password since I have their IP address? I have not so easy to guess passwords so I'm confident or at least hopeful that they're not in danger.

Perhaps this was a simple mistake though I doubt it, requesting a password change isn't like clicking a button accidentally. Thoughts, input?
