music that you listen to
«: May 08, 2008, 09:44:38 PM»
yes YOU.
this is random and there might already be a thread about it. i don't know if anyone else does this buuut i like to listen to music when i work on anything. even if you don't, suggest some good bands! WE MIGHT HAVE THE SAME TASTE IN MUSIC and i'll probably listen to whatever people post because i have no life and i spend a good chunk of my day downloading music.

but i want something unique! i.e. not mcr, fall out boy, good charlotte etc etc. i've heard them all :C

AS FOR ME MYSELF AND I... i like to listen to flogging molly, gorillaz, the beatles n all that good stuff.

GOGOGOGOGOGOGOGOOgogogog og. o.

EDIT:
I JUST FOUND AMAZING OPERA but idk if anyone here likes opera. this is a lot cooler than you think, i bet.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r3yfFOq_CFQ
i know the original of this was in the 5th element if anyone but me has actually seen that movie.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ygJYxMP_ICY

I have strange tastes, I will listen to almost anything and have been known to even enjoy things like hip hop and rap. My favorite genre's are classic rock, rock, dance, alternative, instrumental and folk-ish.

I really don't like heavy metal/death metal stuff, and full-blown techno isn't really my thing either.

Here is some of my favorite bands/singers.
The Eagles, Old Aerosmith, Guns and Roses
Ben Folds Five (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=axpuVLQ_m4w Try to figure out what this song is about, uh, if you get it right without looking at the comments, I'll give you a cookie?)
Jewel (Probably my all time favorite because I've been listening to her since I was 13. I only like her first 2 CDs, the ones before she sold out to the sex appeal market.)
Travis (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UeCcuH-EsuM&feature=related)
Sublime
Rufus Wainwright
Smashing Pumpkins (Another one I listened to a to when I was younger)
Imogen Heap / Frou frou
Royksopp
Lily Allen
Kate Havnevik
The Goo goo dolls (another old one for me.)
Franz Ferdinand (My favorite song by them: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7CLqw_fb394)

I know most of it is pretty dorky/girly...THATS ME I GUESS.

^^Hamber + Sasquatch!^^
