Critique/Red Line, etc please!
«: May 09, 2012, 02:47:39 PM»
I need some help with my fox/rabbit character, especially with the digitigrade legs and placement of everything. I didn't use a reference with the paws, but when I re-draw I will be using one. Something about her hands bother me.

Update: After staring at this and receiving some input, I decided the weight distribution is all off in relation to her legs. Plantigrade would fit better, unless I re-drew and sketch out a more balanced, hunched over frame.

Anyway, here she is:

I'm NOT an anthro artist, and I really suck as explaining everything.
So here is a redline.

And without your sketch under it so you can see the redline I did better I guess.

I hope this helps in some way.
I'm not really a human/anthro artist so I can't help with hands or anything... I'm sorry Dx;
Not usually on furcadia a lot.

Ah, thank you, that does help! I'm tinkering around between a plantigrade and digitigrade style right now.

Regarding the plantigrade/digitigrade legs, I'd decide based on the fox / rabbit distribution. Foxes are digi, rabbits are planti. If she has slender fox legs, do 'em digi. If she has big rabbit feet, they should be planted.
