Public Black Listing is No Longer Allowed
«: May 24, 2012, 09:52:04 PM»
We've noticed a few users creating public black lists on the website as of late. The staff has discussed it, and we have decided that it was incredibly unnecessary.

Public blacklists are just another form of harassment, and it's incredibly unnecessary to air your dirty laundry in such a way. The way we see them being done also breaks our review section rules, which were put in place to avoid this sort of blacklist system.

If you have had a negative experience with a user, we of course have our review section that you can use (within the review section's rules), as well as an in-profile trade review system, identical to the one we have on FAM.

For those unfamiliar with the system, here's how to use it.

Find the profile of the person you want to post a review for.
At the bottom of their information, you'll see a section that looks like this:

The number I have circled varies from profile to profile depending on how many reviews have been submitted. You can click that number, which will bring you to a screen that looks like this:

You can then submit feedback for the user by submitting the "Submit feedback for (name)" link.

Ta-daa! No more need for public blacklists, and all the reviews for that user are in one neat, clean place.

If the person isn't a user, the review section is a good alternative for feedback. We just ask that you read over the rules for that section and make your threads accordingly.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask any staff member!
