Avatar Size Opinions Needed
«: August 01, 2012, 04:06:24 PM»

This is a horse avatar I'm working on. The two shaded shapes are the actual size I want the avatar to be and the unshaded one needs to match that size. I've measured them out so the body proportions for the 'away' facing shapes should be equal to the south-facing shapes I have so far, but it doesn't look right to me. I wanted to make sure it would look right before shading it.

Maybe it's just me because I've been looking at the shapes over and over and need a fresh view on it, but that's why I'm asking for help.
--Does it look like it's the same size?
--If not, what should I do to fix that?

Also, critique on the anatomy, shading, markings, etc., would be appreciated!

i would remove the shading from the front poses first, because shading automatically makes things look thinner. this will make them easier to compare.

Ah, thanks. It did a bit of help! Guess I should've thought of that.
