The real person who probably should be running for presidency is in a log cabin in the woods somewhere.

In all seriousness though, this is going to be a rough four years.  Both candidates really aren't good for the position.  Obama likes to sweet talk the American public, give a shitty medical plan where he's simply going to "cut premiums" and seems to be trying to turn the country socialist.  Problem is, during such a major financial time of hardship, you need someone who knows what they are talking about.  Cutting premiums?  Would be nice, but go ahead and dream.  The US has to re-build its financial system which means more taxing.  Sucks, but its one of the few things that will fix such a harrowing problem in the long run (in all honesty, I believe the economic system is meant to fail in the long run anyhow).  But as for Obama, he wants "major change."  During a time of so much hardship, how do we know the change will even work?  You need a president that will be halfway normal.  The current problems won't fix themselves in one year nor four.  There are too many problems to fix to trust Obama.  He just cares about changing the country to be as he wants it to be.  Not to mention, anyone who goes to a church like he does can't be the best person for the job.  I think it would be awesome to see an african american president, I just don't think he's the right one for the job.  If he didn't believe the extremist views of his church he would simply not go there.  Oh, yea, and his wife is a complete retarded bitch.  :D

As for Mccain, his biggest problem is that he's old.  He'd only run one term and thats it.  Not to mention, Palin is plain stupid.  Harmless most likely, but stupid.  If I were still in the US and voting I'd probably go for Mccain.  He might not be an amazining public speaker and like Obama, but unlike Obama, at least he seems halfway genuine with the shit he says.  All Obama does it butter things up and tell people what they want to hear and what probably will never happen or even work out when he gets into presidency.  Mccain supports the troops, not war.  Everyone thinks that simply because he was in the military and is a POW that he supports the wars.  All I know is that because of his military background, he also knows better as to a good strategy of pulling out of Iraq and all the other middle eastern countries the US is in.  While it would be nice if we could snap our fingers and the war would be over, thats not a realistic thought.  You run away from a fight YOU started in school, people look down on you and will possibly even come back at you later.  This is the same to starting ANY fight, including a war.  There are procedures for going about pulling out of a mess you started (war) and they need to be followed in order to save lives and prevent more problems in the future.

All I can say is that I'm glad to be in Australia.  Go Kevin Rudd!  XD
