OKAY. so

hello.
i'm really proud of this here lineart.
BUT.
i can't shade worth a lick.
and if you think i need to work on the lineart tell me.
but the most i want help with is putting down a base area for shading.
i tried, but it looked like a put a giant duck on his face.
idk.
i need your help.
puh-leese.
if someone could just pleeeeeaaaseeeee put down the base coloring for where i should start shading (or if you'd rather go a little further, i'd love you).

For a start the line art isn't so bad. Could use some anatomical adjustments here and there, but the more you practice the more you get the hand of that. The lines need to be cleaned up in places (avoid "stairs" and cornery pixels, try to make the lines as smooth as possible. this takes pixel-by-pixel work.)

For the shading, it would be easiest for you to pick a light source. Choose a direction you imagine the light coming from, and shade accordingly. I'm not big on feral fur shading, so maybe someone else can help you more on that part.

i even completely forgot that i posted this.
also with the light source, i tried that and failed LOL.
but, yeah, the stairs part of the pixels i was meaning to clean up.
forgot.
or lazy.
either way.
this might be put away. we'll see how lazy i am tomorrow LOL
