Michael Jack-o'-lantern
«: October 30, 2009, 06:28:41 PM»
This year, I carved the zombie Michael Jackson from the 1983 music video "Thriller." This is no stock pattern; I created it from a photograph. It took three hours to design the pattern and five hours to prepare and carve the pumpkin.

The photo is a little distorted, because the tripod was not quite tall enough, and the pumpkin leans back. Unfortunately, this caused the top of the hairline not to show up well in the photo.
